I would love to live anywhere in or around Amsterdam, as this is where I study, write and follow my classes. I'm open to living just about anywhere in the city, all parts of it have something to offer in my opinion, but ideally I'd be able to be close enough to the center to bike or even walk, rather than being dependent on other means of transport.
Ideal space
My ideal space is marked by a lively living room and kitchen. I love spending active time with my housemates (cooking, watching films, going on walks), but also parallel playing (both reading our own thing for instance). Of course a garden, bathtub, and/or balcony a nice plus, but none are musts.
While there are many things that can make for a great place, but I do believe in the power of doing it yourself. I myself have done quite some woodworking, painting and fixing in the past, so I also believe strongly in uplifting a place wherever it needs it, rather than laying back and moping about it.
Ideal group
My ideal group of people would have a community-minded focus (I'm thinking of a mutual care for others in moments of illness or crisis, but also a respect for internal differences), a relaxed mature atmosphere (no silly gossiping, but instead open communication about needs and boundaries), and people that are curious and outgoing. In short, people that manage to uplift one another, rather than take each other down. It's hard enough out there.
Describe yourself
I am an extroverted trans-femme girl, that grew up in the NL in a bilingual household, but has been moving around ever since. I can be very chatty and proactive, but also love to withdraw, read, relax, and write. I'm neurodivergent (HSP), and have a vibrant inner life which I often express through fashion, sketching, song writing, film making, or interior design/diy projects around the house. I also like to be in my head, as I study cultural philosophy (currently focussing in on queer psychoanalysis) and hope to be a professor one day, so a lot of my time is spent reading and writing (I especially love Lacan, Cioran, and Butler). All in all I'm just a really curious person who loves to learn new things and start new projects.
