PhD student at UvA searching for a temporary room (16.01 until 28.02 or March)

Hello! I am a PhD student in physics and my current housing contract ends 15.01. I am looking for a room to rent from 16.01 to 28.02 (maybe even until end of March). My work is in Science Park but I would be interested in anything in Amsterdam. I am originally from California, but I have been in Europe for the last eight years (studied physics in Germany and my PhD is originally in Italy).
At home I am quite and relaxed. Monday through Friday I work until 19:00 or so then I have salsa 2-3 times a week. Other than that I spend weekends going to cultural events or doing something fun. I went to an ecstatic dance event for the first time last week and it was very fun :D
If you know of anything I would really appreciate it if you can let me know.
